A short documentary film centered on a Gabrieleno/Tongva Native American Elder and Historian. The focus of the project is to share historical knowledge of the First People of the land, as recounted through the lived experiences, oral traditions, and deep insights of the Elder. The film will serve as a vital resource, due to so few Elders living with such knowledge, to preserve and amplify Native American and Los Angeles/Orange County history and cultural heritage for generations to come.

The goal of this project is to document and showcase the historical narrative of the First People, providing educational content for schools, cultural organizations, and the wider public. This initiative aims to promote cultural understanding, respect, and appreciation for the First People of Los Angeles while ensuring its preservation in visual and digital formats.
